The EGG and Z build a fort

Conversation overheard after lights are out and they should be in bed (now that zane is in a big boy bed):

E: "Here's your small blanket"

Z: "blanket! blanket!"

E: "Sleepytime zane"

Z: "No, wake up time!"

E: "No, sleepytime"

Z: Why? Why?"

E: Sleepytime Zane. You want a hug and a kiss? a kiss and a hug?"

Several loud thumps heard, then:

Z: "Me sleep on floor"

E: "I'm punishing you for doing that"

Z: "No!"

The EGG at Work

Beach day in january

The EGG takes off on a long run and mom catches up
On the run: "Mommy, when I'm running it helps. If I have strong emotions
it helps when I do this"

The EGG on waking: "Mommy, I smell Daddy brewing" (dad is brewing beer today and has gotten an early start)

To Dad: "What are you making?"

Dad: "It's called arrogant bastard"

EGG: "Oregon Basketball?"

At Ikea shopping for Z's big boy bed

An EGG quote from another day: "I want to do errands mom"

M: "We don't have any errands today but there are plenty to do"

E: "But I don't have any money"

EGG Quote: "One more thing mommy, when I grow up and have my anniversity (sic: anniversary) with Liam, will you buy me muffins?"
