Happy New Year! The EGG is full of love this year, saying "I love you" all the time and giving kisses and hugs, esp to Zane. "Where's Zane?" is frequently heard but sometimes she also says "I want all the attention, not zane"

The EGG causes hysterics with her "back hugs" for Justin and Andrea at our traditional new year's eve beer and fondue party. She almost makes it to the new year, staying up as late as 10:30 when Dad counts her down to sleep.

The EGG entertains herself on the long ride home. Over an hour is spent "bandaging" her doll Lotta with baby wipes under cover of a blanket. There is much "blood" to be fought and things are shaky for awhile, but Lotta makes it. The EGG's imagination has really taken off, and much time is spent playing "tend" (pretend) about everything and anything, although the EGG favors stories that are dramatic in nature--whether they have her going on an adventure, as a princess, a firefighter/doctor, a baby/parent... etc
